There are experiences in your life that come unexpectedly. My daughter, Anna, found herself with some new found time on her hands, and wanting to put it to good use, decided to take a trip. A trip to Europe.
Preferring not to experience this opportunity alone, and with friends who did not have the same new found freedom, she called her old Dad and asked if he would like to join her. He thought carefully for a second or two and said, “YES!”.
Walking the streets, eating the food and mingling with the people of Paris, Prague and Berlin was wonderful. Each city presented a different personality with architecture, attitudes and cuisines that were all their own. The best part was being able to have this unexpected experience with one of my children.
